Overview

The position of Mechanical Designer requires a qualified professional in the field of mechanical engineering. The company in the Salzburg area develops complex automation solutions for international technology corporations such as Samsung, LG, or Panasonic. The focus is on the development and design of mechanical assemblies for high-tech machines, combined with direct influence on the technical implementation of customer-specific requirements.

In Short

• Development and design of mechanical assemblies and machine concepts
• Creation of 3D models and 2D drawings (CAD system: OnShape)
• Preparation of manufacturing documents, parts lists, and technical documentation
• Implementation of individual requirements into technical solutions
• Coordination with production, purchasing, and electrical design
• Participation in the further development of existing products

Requirements

• Technical education (HTL, FH, TU) in mechanical engineering or comparable
• 2–3 years of experience in 3D CAD design (e.g., OnShape, SolidWorks, Creo…)
• Proficient handling of assemblies, materials, and manufacturing technologies
• Structured, solution-oriented, and precise working style
• High degree of initiative and teamwork
• Very good German skills and good English skills

• Salary: 45,000€ – 65,000€ gross/year, depending on experience, potentially more. Additionally, there is a company bonus.
• Work model: 38.5 hours/week, up to 10 overtime hours/month possible.
