Overview

We are looking for a talented Mechanical Designer specializing in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems to join a leading engineering firm in Calgary. The role involves designing mechanical systems for various building projects.

In Short

• Design and develop mechanical systems for commercial and residential projects.
• Utilize Revit and other design tools for detailed designs and specifications.
• Conduct site visits for project assessments and quality control.

• Perform load calculations and energy modeling.
• Mentor junior designers.
• Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 6 years of mechanical design experience.
• Strong knowledge of building codes and sustainable design.
• Preferred experience in various project types.
• Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation is a plus.
• Able to travel within Alberta 1-2 times per week.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
