Overview

This position is for a B2B Sales Manager who is passionate about sustainability and climate protection, working with a Smart City Scaleup that aims to reduce CO₂ emissions in last-mile delivery.

In Short

  • Identify and cold-call new B2B clients in Germany.
  • Conduct market analyses to identify new business opportunities.
  • Proactively approach potential clients and schedule meetings.
  • Travel 3-4 days a month for sales meetings across Germany.
  • Manage the entire sales cycle from initial contact to contract execution.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team for contract support.
  • Coordinate the implementation of new locations.
  • Maintain and develop long-term strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction with existing partners.
  • Participate in industry events and conferences.

Requirements

  • Fluency in German.
  • Residence in a major city in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW).
  • Completed commercial training or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 3 years of experience in B2B sales with a cold-calling focus.
  • Strong hunter mentality.
  • Willingness to travel across Germany (3-4 days a month).
  • Excellent communication skills: empathy, persuasion, and persistence.
