Director, Global Payroll - Remote

Overview

Anaplan is looking for a Director of Global Payroll who brings vast payroll expertise to our US, UK, and other international payroll teams. You will partner and collaborate with various teams to deliver payroll services that optimize operational excellence and manage risk.

• Oversee teams of domestic and international payroll full cycle processing.
• Recruit and develop best-in-class talent for payroll inquiries.
• Develop and execute a strategic plan to scale global payroll administration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet business objectives.
• Lead, coach, mentor, and train the payroll team.
• Design and implement workflows and internal controls for payroll transactions.
• Monitor payroll and wage laws for compliance.
• Ensure timely and accurate quarterly and annual filings.
• Manage payroll-related financial closing activities.
• Lead or assist on special tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in multi-state and multi-country payrolls.
• Experience with Workday systems and ADP WFN.
• Experience in transforming payroll functions for automation and scalability.
• Strong project management experience.
• Highly analytical with quantitative and qualitative analysis skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Experience in hyper-growth environments.
• Strong communication skills with various levels of management.
