Overview

AMA is seeking a remote, part-time Polarimeter Research Scientist to support NASA Langley Research Center in advancing next-generation remote sensing capabilities for upcoming NASA Earth science missions.

In Short

Requirements

  • B.S. in Computer Science, Physics, or related field.
  • Experience in developing remote sensing algorithms in Fortran and Python.
  • Knowledge of numerical analysis, neural networks, and machine learning.
  • Ability to work independently and in teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Experience with large scientific datasets is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Git/GitHub/GitLab is desirable.
