Overview

The Research Scientist position at Dow focuses on compounding and extrusion process development for new processes and product innovation projects within the Packaging and Specialty Plastics division.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related discipline.
• 3 years of relevant industrial experience.
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and drive projects to completion.
• Experience in polymer processing is preferred.
• Knowledge of compounding and extrusion technology is a plus.
• Familiarity with process simulation is advantageous.
• Strong background in rheology is preferred.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
