Data Analyst - Remote

Overview

Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the leading Fleet Maintenance companies in the U.S., is seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our growing team! The Data Analyst will be responsible for converting data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions. This person will conduct full lifecycle activities to include requirements analysis and design, develop analysis and reporting capabilities, and continuously monitor performance and quality control plans to identify improvements. Additionally, develop technical solutions to business problems beginning with defining, analyzing and documenting requirements.

• Ideal candidates will reside in Tampa, FL area.
• Responsibilities include eliciting requirements and optimizing data collection systems.
• Acquire and maintain databases/data systems.
• Filter and clean data to ensure accuracy.
• Work closely with management to prioritize business needs.
• Identify process improvement opportunities.
• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in relevant fields.
• 3-5 years of experience with reporting packages and databases.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills required.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 3-5 years of strong knowledge with reporting packages and databases.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Experience with SSIS and SSRS.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with BI tools like Sisense, Power BI, and Tableau.
• Technical expertise in data models and database design.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Detail-oriented and analytical.
• Ability to work with large datasets and solve complex problems.
