Overview

The Massage Therapy Instructor is responsible for cultivating the school’s mission and objectives through student instruction and guidance, ensuring the success of the academic program and personal development of each student.

In Short

• Responsible for comprehensive course instruction within specified program.
• Provide active input in course development and revision.
• Create a classroom environment that fosters academic growth.
• Advise students on academic and attendance performance.
• Utilize instructional aids and resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate student records and grading.
• Participate in professional development and faculty meetings.
• Develop curriculum materials as needed.
• Report any compliance concerns to the appropriate department.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Minimum three years of experience in the field.
• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Licensed Massage Therapist (LMT).
