Remote Medical Billing Representative

Overview

We have exciting remote job opportunities available for experienced Medical Billing Representatives who are responsible for management of assigned accounts that may fall anywhere in the revenue cycle of the claim.

In Short

• Verify and update patient demographic and insurance information.
• Monitor outstanding balances and ensure timely payments.
• Prepare invoices and reconcile billing with accounts receivables.
• Support process improvements for quality documentation.
• Work closely with billing and support service groups.
• Adhere to practice policies related to OSHA, HIPAA, and CMS Compliance.
• Exceptional data entry skills are required.
• Excellent phone and customer service skills are necessary.
• Meet and exceed daily goal volumes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year healthcare experience in billing or coding.
• 1+ year of ICD-10 coding experience preferred.
• Medicaid and Medicare billing experience is required.
• Ability to work independently and manage confidential information.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience navigating third-party websites.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced remote environment.
