Finance Director - Remote

Overview

Amberscript is seeking an agile Finance Director to lead the financial strategy and operations of its Lebanese entity while supporting group-level initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.

In Short

• Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial modelling in close alignment with business strategy.
• Develop and implement strong internal controls, financial policies, and compliance frameworks in line with Lebanese laws and group-level governance.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory standards.
• Oversee cash flow management, liquidity planning, and working capital optimisation.
• Maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders including auditors, banks, regulators, tax authorities, and legal counsel.
• Provide financial analysis and strategic insight to support business decisions, investment proposals, and M&A initiatives.
• Support the implementation and improvement of ERP, financial systems, and automated reporting tools.
• Oversee local audits, tax filings, and risk mitigation processes to ensure transparency and accountability.
• Act as a strategic finance partner to the local General Manager, aligning local performance with global objectives.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or similar.
• Extensive experience in senior finance leadership roles, including positions such as Finance Director or equivalent.
• Proven track record of working within multinational or multi-entity organisations.
• Demonstrated expertise in financial strategy, business valuations, external stakeholder management, audits, and compliance.
• Strong proficiency in ERP implementation, financial systems, budgeting & forecasting, and multi-jurisdiction operations.
