Remote Bookkeeper & Accounts Payable Specialist

Overview

Altitude Roofing Ltd is urgently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Remote Account Bookkeeper & Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team immediately. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring timely processing of vendor payments.

In Short

• Accurately record daily financial transactions and maintain the general ledger
• Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
• Prepare financial reports (weekly, monthly, and quarterly)
• Monitor cash flow and assist with budgeting processes
• Process high volumes of vendor invoices with speed and accuracy
• Verify invoices, approvals, and supporting documentation
• Schedule and process payments (ACH, wire transfers, checks)
• Maintain vendor files and resolve billing discrepancies promptly
• Assist with payroll support and expense tracking
• Maintain strict confidentiality of financial data

Requirements

• Proven experience in bookkeeping and accounts payable (remote experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles
• Proficiency with accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred)
