Maternal and Child Health Specialist / Project Manager - Remote

Overview

Altarum’s Community Health Practice Area is seeking a Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Specialist/Project Manager to support multiple projects aimed at improving maternal, child and family health.

In Short

• Lead and support projects related to maternal and child health.
• Manage projects funded mainly by the federal government.
• Provide training and technical assistance to clients and grantees.
• Collect primary data and develop written products.
• Facilitate online and face-to-face meetings and webinars.
• Engage with partners and grantees effectively.
• Monitor project execution to ensure budgets and timelines are met.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in public health or related field preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in public health.
• 3+ years of experience managing projects in Maternal and Child Health.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong public speaking skills.
• Exceptional attention to quality and detail.
• Self-motivated with independent management skills.
• Experience in virtual and in-person meeting facilitation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to travel for on-site coordination as needed.
