Delivery Consultant - Azure Software Development - Remote

Overview

As a Cloud Consultant focused on the Microsoft Azure platform, you will serve as the delivery lead on a major Azure modernization program for a public sector client running a multi-year cloud transformation.

In Short

• Serve as the delivery lead on a multi-year Azure modernization program for a public sector client.
• Coordinate the technical delivery team day to day, surfacing blockers early.
• Own the program work plan, RAID log, status reporting, scope management, and change control.
• Serve as the primary day-to-day client point of contact for delivery.
• Translate Azure architecture and engineering progress into business language for client stakeholders.
• Run delivery aligned to the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework and Azure Well-Architected Framework.
• Contribute to scoping and estimating new work streams.
• Stay informed about Azure platform roadmaps and regulatory frameworks.
• Help scope new work streams and contribute to estimates.
• Support Alpha's Microsoft partnership posture.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or quantitative discipline; advanced degree a plus.
• At least 4 years' experience in technical delivery or consulting on Azure projects.
• Track record of running Azure modernization or migration programs.
• Working fluency in core Azure services.
• Experience aligned to the Microsoft Cloud Adoption Framework.
• Strong written communication skills.
• Credible in client-facing conversations at director and VP level.
• Microsoft certifications are a plus.
• Project management and scrum experience.
• Ability to accommodate a working schedule of 8:30am to 5:30pm EST.
