Software Development Consultant - Remote

Overview

Abtech is looking for an experienced PHP software developer to work remotely with our programming team as an independent contractor on a part-time basis.

In Short

• Part-time remote PHP software development role.
• Initial commitment of 5 hours per week, increasing to 10 hours after 3-4 weeks.
• Experience with PHP 8.1 required.
• Basic understanding of 3rd party libraries.
• Web development expertise in raw JS and jQuery.
• Knowledge of MVC structure preferred.
• Experience with JS APIs and tool implementation.
• Ability to document work and report bugs.
• Experience with PDF/Word doc parsing is desirable.
• Desirable knowledge of AWS infrastructure and load balancing.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of PHP development experience.
• Web development expertise in raw JS and jQuery.
• Ability to work with JS APIs.
