As a Senior Engineer at Alpaca, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the systems and services that empower millions of users who trade billions of dollars worth of assets.

In Short

Architect and develop web applications that push the boundaries of technology.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to create elegant and scalable software solutions.
Own the delivery of high-visibility features/projects, from design to deployment.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to the overall technical strategy.

Requirements

Minimum 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
Experience with modern programming languages like React, GoLang, Python.
SQL or relational database skills.
Experience with NextJS is a plus.
Hands-on knowledge with Bash, Linux & Docker; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure).
Passionate about designing intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces.
Good understanding of the financial market.
