In Short

• 5+ years of experience in all aspects of product design, designing for multiple platforms (Responsive web, Android & iOS)
• 5+ years of visual design experience with proficiency in typography, desktop/mobile UI, color, layout, iconography, and aesthetic sense and how these elements impact product function
• Proficiency with industry standard design tools (e.g. Figma, Sketch, Adobe Suite, etc) for the creation of artifacts and presentations
• An online portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables
• Excellent knowledge of responsive design and mobile UI/UX design principles and methodologies as they relate to software development
• Knowledge of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility
• Experience in using UX/UI design best practices to design solutions
• Experience working with cross-functional agile/scrum teams

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience proving designs, hypotheses, and recommendations through the use of data or validated evidence, and providing commercial rationale for design decisions
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and verbal) to be able to clearly articulate concepts, ideas and requirements so they are understood by technical & non-technical teams.
• Good presentation and facilitation skills
• Active listening
• Good persuasion and relationship-building skills to influence others without authority and encourage collaboration between stakeholders
• A team player, able to work collaboratively with other members of the team and autonomously when required
• Organise and prioritise work effectively and in line with the broader team plans and priorities
• A growth mindset: a desire to learn new skills and develop your existing skill set
• Positive attitude and a good sense of humor.
