Overview

As a Senior Claims Advisor at Allstate, you will play a crucial role in handling first party injury claims, ensuring compliance with policies and providing excellent customer service.

In Short

  • Interpret insurance policy wording and determine coverage.
  • Investigate and settle accident benefits claims.
  • Ensure compliance with Allstate policies and legislative requirements.
  • Document claims thoroughly and communicate professionally.
  • Work collaboratively with a team of adjusters and assistants.
  • Manage a caseload reflective of a Senior Claims Advisor.
  • Provide outstanding customer service and set service expectations.
  • Maintain strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Possess strong critical thinking abilities.
  • Proficiency in French is an asset.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education preferred or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of relevant Accident Benefits experience.
  • Completion of CIP designation or desire to pursue it.
  • Prior insurance experience and knowledge of injury claims.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
