The Specialty Operations Finance Voluntary Reinsurance Administration Consultant at Allstate is responsible for managing day-to-day activities, performing thorough analysis, and supporting the reinsurance administration team to achieve business objectives.

• Execute day-to-day team activities and manage assignments.
• Perform thorough analysis and moderate complex tasks independently.
• Support Voluntary Reinsurance Administration and Controller teams.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding reinsurance.
• Prepare financial statements and schedules.
• Calculate and manage reinsurance recoveries and adjustments.
• Coordinate communications related to reinsurance disputes.
• Initiate process improvement projects.
• Identify financially troubled companies in reinsurance.
• Administer reinsurance contracts and collateral requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in finance or reinsurance (preferred).
• General knowledge of insurance and corporate finance concepts.
• Understanding of Statutory, GAAP, and Schedule F.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
