Overview

The Major Repairs and Alterations Specialist is responsible for assessing aircraft repairs and alterations, ensuring compliance, and managing records of damages and maintenance requirements.

In Short

• Assess aircraft repairs and alterations for compliance.
• Create and audit maintenance requirements.
• Maintain records of aircraft damages.
• Review damage reports and data entry accuracy.
• Manage regulatory historical listings of alterations.
• Monitor engineering orders for repairs and alterations.
• Ensure tracking of deferred repairs and inspections.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required.
• Work in a team-oriented environment.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• FAA Airframe certificate required.
• Minimum five years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Basic computer skills.
• Knowledge of Federal Regulations related to aircraft.
• Ability to travel as required.
• A & P certificate or 5 years Aviation experience preferred.
