Heavy Maintenance Representative - Remote

Overview

The Heavy Maintenance Representative supervises and oversees Allegiant Air’s heavy maintenance, modification, aircraft induction work and repairs performed by outside maintenance vendors (MRO).

In Short

• Reports to the Senior Manager of Heavy Maintenance and Induction.
• Acts as a company representative overseeing work and interfacing with all parties.
• Ensures maintenance is accomplished to the highest degree of safety.
• Requires a combination of education and experience.
• Must have an Airframe and Powerplant License.
• Minimum ten years of experience in aircraft maintenance.
• Ability to travel 75% – 80% of the time.
• Supervises aircraft induction and heavy maintenance activities.
• Coordinates with various departments to resolve issues.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory documents.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED required.
• Minimum five years of experience with A320 and 737MAX aircraft.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
• Valid passport and driver's license required.
• Ability to read and understand aircraft maintenance manuals.
• Experience managing direct reports preferred.
• NDT certifications are a plus.
