Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Senior Accountant is an integral role that will work under direct supervision of the Corporate Controller. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, general ledger accountability, journal entries, account reconciliations, financial analysis, and financial reporting, as well as other special projects as assigned.

In Short

• Lead month-end close processes including preparing journal entries and financial reports
• Prepare and maintain all fixed asset records
• Organize personal property tax filings
• Maintain lease accounting schedules
• Perform ad hoc analysis and resolve accounting issues
• Manage quarterly inventory counts
• Streamline accounting processes
• Coordinate with external tax accountants and auditors
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting

Requirements

• 4-6 years of professional accounting experience
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting required
• Master’s Degree and/or CPA preferred
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products
• Attention to detail and process improvement skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Able to work independently and meet deadlines
