Senior Data Engineer - Remote

Overview

Allbirds is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to tackle data challenges and enhance e-commerce and retail performance.

In Short

• Collaborate with data architects and stakeholders.
• Create low-level design artifacts and mapping specifications.
• Build scalable data solutions using SQL, AWS, and Snowflake.
• Create unit/integration tests in CI/CD pipelines.
• Participate in code reviews for best practices.
• Monitor and maintain production systems.
• Utilize Agile Framework for project management.
• Adapt and pay attention to detail in deliverables.

Requirements

• 5+ years of data infrastructure experience.
• Strong software engineering background (Java, Python, SQL).
• Experience with Snowflake, DBT, AWS Glue, Apache Spark.
• Knowledge of data warehouse best practices.
• BS/MS in a quantitative discipline is a plus.
• Ability to play multiple roles in projects.
• Strong skills in project execution and issue resolution.
• Experience with analytics engineers and e-commerce.
