Human Resources Coordinator - Remote

Overview

A versatile position within a dynamic nonprofit that provides community-inspired, volunteer-powered disaster relief. This position is full-time and is responsible for supporting the People team, Human Resources functions, and program teams with administrative tasks and assisting with the creation and implementation of departmental projects.

In Short

• Responsible for all aspects of background and MVR checks for staff.
• Support program teams with onboarding, offboarding, and HR inquiries.
• Conduct monthly check-ins with Program Directors.
• Lead administrator for BBHR Community engagement.
• Manage Learning Management System content.
• Maintain People sections of the Portal and HR Channel on Slack.
• Assist in collecting information for biweekly People email.
• Respond to and forward voicemails from the main phone line.
• Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1+ years experience in Human Resources preferred.
• Experience with BambooHR, Salesforce a plus.
• Must maintain strict confidentiality.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Extremely well organized and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment.
