Junior Business Analyst - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a motivated Junior Business Analyst to support federal application modernization initiatives. This role is designed for an early-career professional who can gather and analyze business requirements, assist in solution documentation, and participate in system and user acceptance testing.

In Short

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements and user stories.
• Support system testing activities, including test planning and defect tracking.
• Conduct user acceptance testing (UAT) and validate solutions.
• Assist in preparing functional documentation and training materials.
• Coordinate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of requirements.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role.
• Hands-on experience with software/system testing.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to gather, analyze, and document requirements effectively.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.
• Experience writing and executing test cases and documenting defects.
• Ability to support QA teams in test planning and validation activities.
