Overview

The Risk and Reliability Engineering Technical Leader will work within the Core and Fuels team of GE Vernova Hitachi Nuclear Energy to integrate and develop Probabilistic Risk Assessment (PRA) technologies and methodologies that meet business needs.

In Short

  • Lead the R&R Engineering team and manage resources.
  • Collaborate with project managers and commercial leaders.
  • Provide technical oversight and support for customer deliverables.
  • Establish relationships with teams to understand work demands.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Represent GVH to customers and regulators.
  • Work on risk-informed designs and ensure compliance.
  • Manage work planning and develop schedules.
  • Utilize various engineering tools and software.
  • Support the development of PRA products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related STEM field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in PRA.
  • Proven problem analysis and communication skills.
  • Experience in nuclear design and project management.
  • Familiarity with engineering tools (IBM DOORS, Primavera P6).
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to work on client sites occasionally.
  • Access to U.S. export-controlled information required.
  • Eligibility for remote work with strong qualifications.
