Prevailing Wage Operations Program Specialist - Remote

Overview

GE Hitachi Nuclear Energy is seeking a Prevailing Wage Operations Program Specialist to implement and oversee a comprehensive prevailing wage process within our Services Business, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local laws.

In Short

• Implement and manage the prevailing wage program for GEH Nuclear Services projects.
• Develop standardized procedures for wage determination tracking and reporting.
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate prevailing wage requirements.
• Perform wage determination estimates for project proposals.
• Monitor regulatory changes and update policies accordingly.
• Oversee onboarding of subcontractors into the Variable Workforce Platform.
• Assist with payroll reconciliation between GEH and subcontractors.
• Maintain and improve the Subcontractor Evaluation Process.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. export-controlled information regulations.
• Work with the GEH Field Services team on immigration processes.

Requirements

• Minimum of High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
• 3+ years of experience with federal prevailing wage administration.
• Ability to travel up to 10% domestically.
• Experience in labor compliance in services-based environments.
• Knowledge of Davis-Bacon Act and SCA regulations.
• Strong project management and communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Excel and payroll reporting platforms.
• Legal or paralegal background is a plus.
