Senior Infrastructure System Engineer - Remote

In Short

• Responsible for day-to-day support, maintenance and administrative duties for the Windows servers/Office 365/Azure cloud environments.
• Design, implement, and test solutions based on functional and business requirements.
• Provide support for on-premises and Azure cloud solutions.
• Maintain server infrastructure and perform logging, monitoring, and problem diagnosis.
• Ensure high availability of systems to the organization.
• Perform installation of operating systems and application software on servers.
• Conduct regular security monitoring to identify possible intrusions.
• Develop policies and procedures to support the infrastructure environment.
• Provide 2nd and 3rd line support duties.
• Assist the Service Desk team with technical solutions.

Requirements

• Experience with Microsoft Server systems and associated server technologies.
• Experience with Azure and Office 365 technologies.
• Experience with virtualization technologies.
• Good working experience with Active Directory and group policies.
• Understanding of networking (routing/DNS/Firewalls/Load Balancers).
• Knowledge of backup technologies.
• Solid understanding of ITIL concepts and processes.
• Ability to anticipate risks and devise solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
