Transaction Monitoring Analyst - Remote

Overview

Airtm is seeking a Transaction Monitoring Analyst to enhance their anti-money-laundering efforts and ensure compliance with financial regulations.

In Short

• Monitor and review AML alerts regularly.
• Investigate suspicious transaction alerts.
• Assess transactions based on previous activity and client profiles.
• Escalate alerts when necessary.
• Maintain records of investigations and decisions.
• Prepare Suspicious Activity reports.
• Assist in creating and testing transaction monitoring rules.
• Provide risk identification advice to business units.
• Collaborate with various departments.
• Contribute to departmental procedures and goals.

Requirements

• Fluency in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus.
• Experience in compliance or the financial sector, especially in AML.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Data visualization skills (Tableau, Power BI, etc.) are a plus.
• Prior experience with remote work is preferred.
