Overview

AireSpring is seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to drive finance and accounting transformation, focusing on reconciliations, accounting cleanup, and financial reporting support.

In Short

• Perform reconciliations and accounting cleanup to ensure accuracy of financial statements.
• Build and maintain supporting balance sheet schedules in compliance with GAAP.
• Design and implement processes to improve reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Conduct tests of balance sheet accounts to validate account balances.
• Develop reconciliation schedules and financial support packages.
• Translate financial statements into indicators of operational performance.
• Collaborate with senior finance leadership for corrective entries and reporting practices.
• Handle large data sets efficiently for reconciliations and schedules.
• Work with external advisors and auditors for documentation.
• Focus on finance transformation and automation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience with a focus on reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Solid knowledge of GAAP and experience with financial statements.
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables and complex formulas.
• Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems.
• Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills for data presentation.
• Ability to link financial results to operational performance.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
• Expertise in US GAAP and financial reporting.
