Provider Coordinator - Remote

Overview

The Provider Coordinator is responsible for maintaining systems essential to daily operations supporting patient care, including scheduling appointments and providing excellent department support.

• Fully remote position for candidates residing in MN or WI.
• 1.0 FTE (80 hours per two-week period).
• 8-hour day shifts, no weekends.
• Handles scheduling and rescheduling of patient appointments and procedures.
• Provides administrative support to the department.
• Verifies insurance and obtains prior authorizations.
• Organizes and maintains department records and patient education materials.
• Participates in patient data reporting and compliance.
• May assist physicians with reimbursements and credentialing.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Post-secondary education in the medical field is a plus.
• 2 to 5 years experience in a medical office, including administrative support.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite and electronic medical records.
