Senior Network Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the day-to-day handling of escalations related to incidents, projects or requests of our managed services customer's environments. This role is crucial for providing subject matter expertise incident management, service request management, and change management infrastructure support for all Managed Services customers.

In Short

• Manage and maintain customer Network infrastructure.
• Communicate incident ticket/service request statuses with customers.
• Perform baseline network administration including MACDs.
• Possess working knowledge of APIC / ACI.
• Administer AWS VPCs and CIDR management.
• Conduct incident management on various network issues.
• Execute routine and emergency infrastructure maintenance.
• Perform troubleshooting with carriers and vendors.
• Build and maintain documentation for customer Network infrastructure.
• Provide support and cross-training to team members.

Requirements

• 12+ years of experience with operational administration of Network Infrastructure.
• 9+ years working with monitoring platforms; LogicMonitor a plus.
• 6+ years of experience with Cisco Infrastructure.
• 6+ years of experience with Palo Alto Infrastructure.
• 4+ years of experience with NetScaler Infrastructure.
• Experience with GlobalProtect, AnyConnect, FortiClient.
• Advanced experience with Cisco ISE, BGP/EIGRP/OSPF.
• Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent Experience.
• CCNA - Required.
