Senior Engineer, Observability - Remote

In Short

• Enhance and streamline AHEAD's Managed Services platforms.
• Drive the design, development, and maintenance of observability systems.
• Collaborate with customer service owners and service delivery groups.
• Oversee documentation and quality assurance for development efforts.
• Automate operational tasks and optimize workflows.
• Provide third-level support and troubleshooting assistance.
• Lead discussions with vendors around new functionality.
• Engage effectively with customers and stakeholders.
• Support P1 Platform outages and lead troubleshooting.
• Provide emergency after-hours support as part of a scheduled on-call rotation.

Requirements

• BS/BA Degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• 3+ years administrating an enterprise environment with 24x7x365 uptime requirements.
• Experience with monitoring and event management technologies.
• Scripting and automation skills with PowerShell, Perl, or Python.
• Experience interacting with SOAP and Rest APIs.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience with LogicMonitor and Elastic Observability Platform.
• Experience with MSP environments and solutioning standards.
• Recognized subject matter expert in Observability.
• Experience with the Planning and design of monitoring solutions.
