Summer Internship in Accounting/Finance - Remote

Overview

Join AffirmedRx in improving health care outcomes through pharmacy benefit management. The Accounting/Finance Intern will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, accounting operations, and business decision-making.

In Short

• Hands-on experience in financial analysis and reporting
• Support month-end close activities and reconciliations
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting
• Collaborate with various departments on financial operations
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Work closely with the finance team
• Flexible hours, 25-40 hours per week
• Internship duration: June 1st, 2026 to August 7th, 2026
• End of internship presentation to company leadership
• First round interviews in mid-January

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in finance, accounting, or related field
• Basic knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting preferred
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent organizational skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated and adaptable
• Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn
