In Short

• The Accounting/Finance Intern will gain hands-on experience in financial analysis, accounting operations, and business decision-making.
• Assist in analyzing financial data and preparing financial reports.
• Support month-end close activities and accounts payable/receivable processes.
• Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Collaborate with various departments on financial operations.
• Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure compliance with company policies in financial recordkeeping.
• Work independently and adapt to new challenges.
• Gain experience with accounting software and financial analysis tools.
• Contribute to process improvements within the finance department.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated with a degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting (preferred).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial software.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
• A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn.
