We are therefore seeking to hire a Senior Director to lead centralized Machine Learning capability at Affirm.

• Set the vision for Machine Learning and AI at Affirm.
• Hire world class Machine Learning modelers, Platform and Software engineers.
• Take ownership of core model development lifecycle and business outcomes.
• Champion AI adoption in existing and new products.
• Balance ML investments across traditional and transformer-based models.
• Evolve ML platform to support increasing ML needs.
• Run a robust ML development lifecycle fostering a culture of experimentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional partners including product, risk, and compliance.

Requirements

• 15+ years of experience in Machine Learning, AI, or related domains.
• Experience leading centralized ML teams.
• Successful track record in landing key models that drive PnL.
• Comfortable working in matrix organizations.
• Experience hiring and retaining talent.
• Understanding of evolving ML landscape and business value drivers.
