Senior Manager, Internal Communications - Remote

Overview

Affirm is reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, giving consumers the flexibility to buy now and pay later without any hidden fees or compounding interest. We’re looking for a dynamic, results-driven communications professional to join our Communications team and lead internal communications strategies that inform, engage and inspire Affirmers.

In Short

• Lead Internal Communications Strategy: Refine and execute a company-wide strategy that ensures consistent, clear messaging around Affirm’s vision, strategy, and priorities.
• Optimize Internal Communications Channels: Oversee and enhance the effectiveness of key communication channels (e.g. All Teams meetings, Slack).
• Partner with Leaders and Cross-functional Teams: Collaborate with other communications experts, marketers, the People team, and senior leadership.
• Drive Employee Engagement and Advocacy: Work closely with the People team to design and implement communications that reinforce company values.
• Manage Complex Communications: Partner with the Communications team and cross functional stakeholders to effectively manage messaging for sensitive situations.
• Measure Impact and Refine Strategies: Define key performance indicators and assess the impact of internal communications efforts.

Requirements

• 10+ years of communications experience, including at least 5 years in-house.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills.
• Proven track record of building and executing internal communications programs.
• Collaborative and results-oriented mindset.
• Exceptional project management skills.
• Data-driven approach to communication.
