Senior Business Intelligence Technical Specialist - Remote

Overview

AETOS LLC is seeking a Business Intelligence / Data Warehouse Technical team member to join an existing team providing business intelligence solutions to a government client. The ideal individual will have 5+ years of industry experience and will be responsible for successful technical delivery of Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence projects using an Agile project management methodology.

In Short

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and develop new enterprise business intelligence (BI) service offerings.
• Collaborate with end users to identify needs for improved data delivery.
• Provide ongoing development and maintenance of financial data marts and enterprise data warehouse.
• Administer and troubleshoot BI reporting tool installations: Hyperion, OBIEE, Tableau.
• Provide end-user support and encourage user adoption.
• Convert business requirements into analyses, reporting, and visualizations.
• Define and log work using JIRA.
• Participate in recurring team meetings (Agile).

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience in gathering requirements and formulating business metrics.
• Experience developing and troubleshooting BI reports.
• Experience administering BI tools including Hyperion, OBIEE, Tableau.
• Experience working in a Microsoft SharePoint environment.
• Experience with AGILE and writing User Stories.
• Must be able to present troubleshooting steps to varied audiences.
• Experience using Informatica PowerCenter a plus.
• Experience monitoring and maintaining enterprise BI reporting services.
