Transmission Engineer - Remote

Overview

AECOM is hiring for a Transmission Engineer with a primary focus on Transmission and Distribution projects to support our growing Energy Business Line.

In Short

• Perform engineering analysis and design for overhead transmission lines.
• Prepare construction packages including plan & profile drawings and engineering calculations.
• Utilize industry-standard software such as PLS-CADD.
• Support project lifecycle activities including scope development and scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Provide engineering support during construction.
• Maintain accurate documentation for design standards.
• Identify and mitigate site issues.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field + 2 years of relevant experience.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification.
• Understanding of transmission line design principles.
• Experience with CAD or engineering design tools.
