Subcontract Close-out/Compliance Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Subcontract Close-out/Compliance Specialist will be responsible for closing expired subcontracts and ensuring compliance with necessary regulations at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory.

In Short

• Remotely work on subcontract close-out and compliance tasks.
• Gather documentation for closing fixed-price and labor-hour subcontracts.
• Document and perform closeout activities within Oracle EBS.
• Track and report the completion of subcontracts weekly.
• Assist with compliance requirements and customer inquiries.
• Support the preparation for compliance audits.
• Work closely with the compliance manager and other stakeholders.
• Meet weekly to report on compliance progress.
• Handle high volume, low complexity tasks efficiently.
• Train with subject matter experts for compliance support.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• US Citizenship required due to nature of work.
• Pass state and federal background checks.
• Pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Ability to manage high volume workloads.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Knowledge of government policies and processes.
• Experience with closeout or compliance tasks preferred.
