Senior Permitting Manager - Remote

Overview

The Senior Permitting Manager will support the development and implementation of strategies for environmental permitting, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations while coordinating with various stakeholders.

In Short

• Work remotely with expected hours on Pacific Time.
• Support pre-record of decision environmental permitting activities.
• Develop strategies and review necessary documentation.
• Coordinate with permitting agencies during the review process.
• Manage existing nonoperational right-of-way (ROW).
• Evaluate compliance with federal, state, and local permits.
• Assess the need for additional permits for maintenance activities.
• Act as a liaison with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with CEQA and NEPA documentation.
• Provide support and guidance to staff and consultants.

Requirements

• BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education.
• Master’s degree in biology, environmental science, or related field preferred.
• Experience with major environmental laws such as CEQA and NEPA.
• Knowledge of construction compliance tracking and reporting.
• Familiarity with various project delivery processes.
