Overview

AECOM is seeking a motivated and experienced New Mexico Traffic Engineering State Manager (Hybrid) to lead traffic/ITS engineering services in New Mexico, providing flexibility to work from home a few days a week.

In Short

  • Lead and support a team of professionals in traffic analysis and design.
  • Manage projects and client relationships.
  • Coordinate with local leadership to grow the traffic/ITS team.
  • Deliver technical documentation and project deliverables.
  • Provide technical leadership and supervision of tasks.
  • Participate in business development activities.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ensure adherence to budget and schedule.
  • Coordinate with other discipline groups and external clients.
  • Perform design elements for engineering works.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience.
  • Experience with Traffic Engineering projects in New Mexico.
  • Professional Engineer license in New Mexico or ability to obtain it.
  • Familiarity with traffic operational analysis and ITS projects.
  • Experience in business development and project proposals.
  • Strong management and technical skills.
  • Design Build experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in MicroStation, Synchro, VISSIM, and Microsoft Office.
