Overview

AECOM is seeking an Environmental Compliance Auditor to conduct environmental compliance audits in active construction areas, ensuring environmental commitments are met and providing oversight and management of compliance.

In Short

  • Conduct environmental compliance audits in construction areas.
  • Review reports, permits, and regulatory documents.
  • Prepare audit findings and coordinate with technical teams.
  • Evaluate compliance with federal, state, and local standards.
  • Assist in developing findings and corrective actions.
  • Provide technical assistance for permit compliance.
  • Coordinate the development of written procedures.
  • Work as part of a multi-discipline compliance team.
  • Manage multiple competing priorities.
  • Some travel may be required.

Requirements

  • BA/BS + 4 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or related field preferred.
  • Familiarity with ISO 14001 and environmental management systems.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental regulations.
  • Experience with design-build contracting and construction processes.
  • Technical reading, writing, and reporting experience.
  • Advanced degree in related field preferred.
  • Environmental management certification is a plus.
