Overview

Join AECOM's Civil Engineer - Highway / Transportation Design Team in Pittsburgh, PA to work on a variety of challenging and interesting projects that help improve infrastructure and community development.

In Short

• Work on roadway and site-civil design, highway and bridge projects.
• Conduct traffic engineering analysis and transportation planning studies.
• Develop design criteria and construction specifications.
• Implement 3D CADD modeling techniques.
• Prepare technical reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with a design team to meet client expectations.
• Minimal travel of up to 5 - 10% for client meetings.
• Support project managers and department managers.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development.
• Adhere to AECOM quality procedures.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Four years of related experience or equivalent.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
• Experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Preferred experience with PennDOT and Pennsylvania Turnpike projects.
• Ability to operate within a hybrid work schedule.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License or ability to obtain.
