Civil / Highway Engineer - Transportation Design - Remote

Overview

Join AECOM's Civil Engineer - Highway / Transportation Design Team in Pittsburgh, PA to work on a variety of challenging and interesting projects. Projects range from roadway and site-civil design, highway and bridge projects, traffic engineering analysis, and transportation planning studies.

In Short

• Work on a hybrid office schedule with 3 days in the office/field and 2 days remote.
• Develop design criteria and specifications for transportation projects.
• Identify utility conflicts and coordinate resolutions.
• Implement 3D CADD modeling techniques.
• Prepare technical reports and project deliverables.
• Conduct interdisciplinary technical reviews.
• Collaborate with design teams to meet client expectations.
• Support project managers in achieving project goals.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to their development.
• Engage directly with clients for project requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) Certification.
• Experience with Bentley OpenRoads Designer and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Experience in civil engineering focusing on roadway and drainage projects.
• Ability to work in a hybrid environment.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred.
