BHS Project Manager - Remote

Overview

AECOM’s Transportation Business Line is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning, design, construction management, and testing of Baggage Handling Systems (BHS) for various TSA projects.

In Short

• Responsible for overall management and administration of the project.
• Provides management and guidance to subordinate managers.
• Ensures project compliance with design, budget, and schedule.
• Responsible for design and funding reviews of projects.
• Administers the project from schedule stage through contract closeout.
• Manages design coordination team for stakeholder input.
• Mentors junior staff in BHS planning and design.

Requirements

• BA/BS Degree plus 8 years of project management experience in the BHS industry.
• Experience with TSA processes, funding rules, and standards.
• Direct experience with BHS planning, design, and construction management.
• Preferred: 15 years of overall experience in the BHS industry.
• Willing to travel approximately 10% of the time.
