Overview

The Assistant Project Manager - Utility Design Reviewer will work remotely and support the preparation, review, coordination, and tracking of utility Reports of Investigation for a high-speed rail system.

  • Work remotely with a focus on utility design review.
  • Prepare and review utility Reports of Investigation.
  • Coordinate with a team of Utility Design Reviewers.
  • Assess utility relocation alternatives and impacts.
  • Ensure compliance with the Client’s Right-of-Way Manual.
  • Conduct quality control checks on utility designs.
  • Provide technical assistance on utility issues.
  • Maintain communication with third-party agencies and stakeholders.
  • Represent the Utility Team at meetings.
  • Travel may be required for this position.

Requirements

  • BA/BS + 6 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Preferred degree in Engineering, Business, or Law.
  • 5+ years in land services/right-of-way field.
  • Knowledge of utility land rights and design standards.
  • Experience in title research and land rights investigations.
  • Ability to analyze and prepare technical reports.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software.
  • Understanding of land survey principles.
  • Ability to identify potential land rights conflicts.
