Seasonal Tax Accountant - Remote

In Short

• Part-Time and Seasonal Roles (Hybrid Remote or Remote depending on location) with a stable and ethical firm based out of the San Francisco Bay Area (East Bay).
• Seeking experienced Tax professionals who are looking for flexibility.
• Support will mainly be needed during tax season (January through April); however, there is also potential for a few of these roles to evolve into part-time work throughout the year.
• These are part-time or seasonal positions open to candidates residing in and eligible to work in the United States.
• Ideal for tax professionals who have reached a point in their careers where they are looking for more flexibility.
• Ideally able to meet in person if needed; however, this is a dynamic opportunity.
• This role is with a well-established, stable and growing firm.
• Located in the Concord/Pleasant Hill/Walnut Creek area.

Requirements

• Is an EA or CPA with extensive public accounting experience focused on complex individual and business related tax.
• Must have solid computer skills technical proficiency with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word & Outlook) and with recognized complex tax accounting software (Ideally CCH).
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Flexible problem solver with the ability to work independently.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Has earned a Bachelor’s degree, ideally a Masters, with a focus on accounting or tax.
