Tax Preparer - Remote

Overview

This role is with a well-established, stable and growing firm located in the Concord/Walnut Creek area and is primarily remote; however, it is only open to candidates in the Greater San Francisco Bay Area who are able to come into an office on an as needed basis.

In Short

• Assist the accounting team with preparing complex Corporate and Individual Tax returns.
• Focus on High Net Worth Individual tax returns.
• Minimum of 5+ years of tax experience required.
• Strong technical proficiency with tax accounting software.
• Proactive and quick learner.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• CPA or EA preferred but not required.
• Potential seasonal/part-time opportunities available.

Requirements

• 5+ years of tax experience at a public accounting firm.
• Technical proficiency with MS Office Suite and tax software.
• Proactive attitude and quick learning ability.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred.
• CPA or EA preferred but not required.
