In Short

• As an integral member of the Finance and Tax team, the Tax Accountant will be responsible for various tax and accounting operations
• Work with third-party providers to file sales and use tax and VAT/GST returns
• Assist with filing personal property, excise, business, and other indirect tax returns in accordance with the tax calendar
• Help reconcile tax accounts, book journal entries and work on monthly close
• Coordinate timely estimated income tax and other payments in collaboration with Lead Tax Analyst and Accounting Team
• Help with information gathering for tax audits and response to tax notices
• Assist team members with international tax compliance and payments
• Support Legal and Human Resources teams with new business registrations and licenses
• Streamline processes to improve efficiency

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experience
• 0-2 years in corporate tax or accounting preferred
• Strong technology skills including Excel and Google Sheets
• Experience with NetSuite/Oracle or other ERP system is preferred
• Strong collaboration, communication and organizational skills
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing individually and as a team
• A proactive mindset with regard to driving process efficiency
