Java Backend Engineer (Full-time or Part-time) - Remote

In Short

• Develop robust and scalable backend solutions in Java.
• Analyze complex technical requirements and implement them with the team.
• Create the runtime of our Rapid-Application-Platform.
• Take responsibility for the design, implementation, and testing of software components.
• Collaborate closely with other teams (e.g., Frontend, Infrastructure, Cloud).

Requirements

• Several years of experience in software development with Java.
• Knowledge of testing and quality assurance (TDD, integration, and unit tests).
• Familiarity with frameworks for web application development (e.g., Spring).
• Good understanding of containerized applications (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Ideally, experience with relational databases (e.g., MS SQL, MariaDB, MySQL).
• Ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Good communication skills in German.
